Telemann Project

Follow here my recording project of the 12 Fantasias for solo recorder by G. Ph. Telemann (1681-1767). This set of pieces is a true baroque treasure, containing the main genres, forms and dances of the period. They are a testimony to the composer’s inventiveness and represent a huge expressive and technical challenge for the performer. I’d like to invite you to support this project.

BaroqueMusic

That repertoire was the first one to touch my heart, even today it remains at the center of my studies. During the baroque period the recorder was in high demand and composers such as J. S. Bach; G. Ph. Telemann and A. Vivaldi wrote wonderful pieces for it.

Working together with brazilian composers is always a challenging creative process and one of my great joys. Composers such as André Vidal, Harry Crowl and Liduino Pitombeira dedicated pieces to me.
